Oscar Ronde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Daan Smid made a huge save. Oscar Ronde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daan Smid having to interfere. Daan Smid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henny Sparnaaij in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Remond Bender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daan Smid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ate Brugmans kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Spoorakker BV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Eylens to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Remond Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elmar Verhoeven hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Spoorakker BV booed when Hey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leendert Euving didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Joost Boshuis made a precise shot to the right of Robin Theuws. Spoorakker BV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Robin Theuws came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Hey FC's Joost Boshuis. But to his dismay, Joost Boshuis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Leendert Euving recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Benjamin Overmars notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws. Robin Theuws was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute Joost Boshuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Theuws saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oscar Ronde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute of the match, Henny Sparnaaij tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daan Smid saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When Oscar Ronde came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Spoorakker BV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Ronde couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Arnold Kok ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Theuws was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 64 minutes into the game, Arnold Kok was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hey FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spoorakker BV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hey FC's Arnold Kok got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Henny Sparnaaij came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Spoorakker BV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henny Sparnaaij couldn't finish the play. When Mickael Brouwers fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hey FC's protests and gave Mickael Brouwers a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hey FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mickael Brouwers hit a great ball. Daan Smid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henny Sparnaaij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Spoorakker BV's goalkeeper Robin Theuws had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joost Boshuis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ronde in the 86th minute of play forced Hey FC's goalkeeper Daan Smid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hey FC's Daan Smid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Ronde in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, one of Hey FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elmar Verhoeven kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 100th minute, Marcel Eylens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hey FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
