In the 3rd minute Harry Plenter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Theuws saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Budapest United's Martijn Klaasens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Theuws made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Klaasens in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Hugo Haas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Spoorakker BV's goal looked a bit too open when Peter van Gaal came free, but Robin Theuws reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Peter van Gaal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Robin Theuws to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute Martijn Klaasens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Theuws saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter van Gaal in the 16th minute of play forced Spoorakker BV's goalkeeper Robin Theuws to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Theuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter van Gaal in the 20th minute of the match. Christodoulos Moscholidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ronde in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Spoorakker BV defense, Harry Plenter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Theuws. The Spoorakker BV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Theuws should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws got control of the ball when Hugo Haas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Spoorakker BV's Oscar Ronde got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henny Sparnaaij fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christodoulos Moscholidis having to interfere. Oscar Ronde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Spoorakker BV defense, Evripidis Stabouloglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Theuws. The Spoorakker BV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Theuws should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Budapest United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Martijn Klaasens hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter van Gaal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Spoorakker BV's goal looked a bit too open when Evripidis Stabouloglou came free, but Robin Theuws reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spoorakker BV's Herbert Aelbrecht suffered a sore thigh after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 58 minutes, Harry Plenter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Budapest United and the Spoorakker BV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Spoorakker BV made a substitution. Gerrie Schophuis replaced Herbert Aelbrecht. After 60 played minutes Budapest United got a freekick which was hit by Harry Plenter. Robin Theuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Klaasens in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remond Bender during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Remond Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Theuws dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 80th match minute, Budapest United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Zadelhoff to maneuver through the defense. Robin Theuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evripidis Stabouloglou in the 84th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Budapest United's Anton Zadelhoff tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Spoorakker BV's goal looked a bit too open when Evripidis Stabouloglou came free, but Robin Theuws reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, Budapest United's Geale Ijkwezen made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Theuws was left in no man's land by his defense there!
