Arjan van Rijswijk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry Rogaars stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hendrik-Jan Tamminga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ronald van Zeist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Frederik Overmars fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hidayet Usum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronald van Zeist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Heiko Lambers was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Heiko Lambers kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Schoonouwen were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
