Spectators: 8017 (Terracing: 6015, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) FC de Patjakkers's Pierre Breugel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hans Kok came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FC de Patjakkers's Pierre Breugel. But to his dismay, Pierre Breugel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 minutes, Elroy Klaasens made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC de Patjakkers's Paul de Boer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierre Breugel's late challenge caught a Vitesse Arnhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Breugel helped the player get up and apologised. Pierre Breugel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Rob Ewald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Kok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joost Veenhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul de Boer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elroy Klaasens's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Paul de Boer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Zevenberg in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Vitesse Arnhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Donderwinkel to maneuver through the defense. Joost Veenhuis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Pierre Breugel made a precise shot to the right of Hans Kok. Vitesse Arnhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Arjen Ruiter fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitesse Arnhem's protests and gave Arjen Ruiter a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the match, Vitesse Arnhem's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Breugel came free, but Hans Kok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elroy Klaasens kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elroy Klaasens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rob Ewald hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vitesse Arnhem defense, Pierre Breugel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Kok. The Vitesse Arnhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Kok should have stopped the shot. Brain Roelofsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes, Eulalio Gaufred mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC de Patjakkers and the Vitesse Arnhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC de Patjakkers! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Vitesse Arnhem. Fokke Batum stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paul de Boer. 2-3. In the 65th minute, Pierre Breugel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When David Dekens fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitesse Arnhem's protests and gave David Dekens a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the game, one of Vitesse Arnhem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pierre Breugel shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of FC de Patjakkers booed when Vitesse Arnhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. 曾珂林 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Donderwinkel's late challenge caught a FC de Patjakkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Donderwinkel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Tim Donderwinkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joost Veenhuis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Kok read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Pierre Breugel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Kok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 100 minutes of play FC de Patjakkers's Eulalio Gaufred was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Eulalio Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. The Vitesse Arnhem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC de Patjakkers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
