Wullenhoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koen Stam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Koen Stam fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Dirk Roeles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Lamey was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Koen Stam in the 53rd minute of play forced Hell's goalkeeper Casper Lamey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Wullenhoven got a corner. Hell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dirk Roeles ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Wullenhoven's corner Dirk Roeles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Lamey quite easily take care of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Wullenhoven's goalkeeper Dave van Zomeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jhon Weken. After having played for 64 minutes, Koen Stam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wullenhoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koen Stam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Timo Looze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave van Zomeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Lamey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Roeles in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Dirk Roeles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wullenhoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Casper Lamey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koen Stam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Wullenhoven were awarded a corner. Dirk Roeles went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 90th minute, Floris Jonge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Oliver Zuidema left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wullenhoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Casper Lamey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Stam in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wullenhoven.
