Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Koen Stam came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Wullenhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koen Stam couldn't finish the play. Ernest Meijeringh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave van Zomeren having to interfere. Tjeerd Lindeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koen Stam, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dirk Roeles sped through Geneneind V.V.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tjeerd Lindeman. After a rather tough play, Geneneind V.V.'s Ronald Wekenburg got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Dirk Roeles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tjeerd Lindeman was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Geneneind V.V.'s zone, Dirk Roeles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjeerd Lindeman came out of the goal and Dirk Roeles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Wullenhoven fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Wullenhoven's Dirk Roeles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute, Koen Stam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Niels-Jan Hoffhuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Wullenhoven were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Geneneind V.V. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Casper Jorna hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Koen Stam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Lindeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Geneneind V.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Jorna to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Wullenhoven's Toni Hilbrands got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes Geneneind V.V. got a freekick which was hit by Niels-Jan Hoffhuis. Ernest Meijeringh scored 1-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave van Zomeren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koen Stam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tjeerd Lindeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Wullenhoven got a freekick which was hit by Geert Haremeijer. Koen Stam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Melker kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dirk Roeles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wullenhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Roeles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tjeerd Lindeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Koen Stam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tjeerd Lindeman made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Wullenhoven's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Westra came free, but Dave van Zomeren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Koen Stam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Arno Fransen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Koen Stam succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 96th playminute. The Geneneind V.V. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Wullenhoven to win.
