Wullenhoven's Dave van Zomeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriaan Ritsma in the 25th minute of play. After 34 played minutes FC Gemelli got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Vroom. Dave van Zomeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Claevers in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Popping in the 38th minute of play forced Wullenhoven's goalkeeper Dave van Zomeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
