Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC de Patjakkers's Pierre Breugel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierre Breugel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tjeerd Lindeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul de Boer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Westra, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Pierre Breugel put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tjeerd Lindeman. After a defensive mix-up in FC de Patjakkers's zone, Frans Westra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul de Boer came out of the goal and Frans Westra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brain Roelofsen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Ernest Meijeringh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Ernest Meijeringh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Breugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjeerd Lindeman having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pierre Breugel put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Tjeerd Lindeman. Pierre Breugel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tjeerd Lindeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brain Roelofsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frans Westra to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernest Meijeringh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Paul de Boer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match, Pierre Breugel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tjeerd Lindeman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 58 minutes, Elroy Roewen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geneneind V.V. and the FC de Patjakkers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elroy Roewen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, FC de Patjakkers's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Meijeringh came free, but Paul de Boer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre Breugel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tjeerd Lindeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre Breugel in the 72nd minute. A collision led to FC de Patjakkers getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Brain Roelofsen hit a great ball. Pierre Breugel in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tjeerd Lindeman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Casper Jorna hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Pierre Breugel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tjeerd Lindeman came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre Breugel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 96th minute. When the match was over FC de Patjakkers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Geneneind V.V. throughout the match.
