Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arno Fokkens started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Lukas Wessel could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Martien Eisenga however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Aerssen in the 5th minute of play forced Brouwershoek FC's goalkeeper Peter Schirring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Aerssen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Schirring read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Aerssen in the 9th minute of play forced Brouwershoek FC's goalkeeper Peter Schirring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martien Eisenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Fokkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Lukas Wessel scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martien Eisenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Wessel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Martien Eisenga made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Baars in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Schirring prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Brouwershoek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Aerssen came free, but Peter Schirring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arno Fokkens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Brouwershoek FC's Martien Eisenga threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arno Fokkens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Aerssen was the one to do the kick off. When Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Rafael Baars in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brouwershoek FC's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Jan Stekelenburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brouwershoek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinzendi FC Retired! the free kick. Jan Stekelenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Arno Fokkens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martien Eisenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Schirring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Aerssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arno Fokkens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Eisenga having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Vinzendi FC Retired! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marinus van Zwam to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, one of Vinzendi FC Retired!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vinzendi FC Retired!. Ronald van der Leegte shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arno Fokkens in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martien Eisenga saved Vinzendi FC Retired! from getting behind. Martien Eisenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Wessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Aerssen got free with Peter Schirring in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brouwershoek FC's Lukas Wessel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Arno Fokkens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martien Eisenga was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 87thth minute of the game Arno Fokkens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Martien Eisenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anton Aerssen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Peter Schirring made a huge save. Arno Fokkens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Rafael Baars got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Vinzendi FC Retired! echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Brouwershoek FC had held the ball for most of the match.
