Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Frans Schuurmans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Hendrik Scheffer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Schirring was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Diderik Eefting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Tanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 10 minutes, Thomas Wijnands mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Overhaelen and the Brouwershoek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Overhaelen got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Wijnands. 16 minutes into the game, Dave Tanis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brouwershoek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Overhaelen the free kick. The supporters of Overhaelen booed when Brouwershoek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Tanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Overhaelen's Frans Schuurmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Schirring made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hendrik Scheffer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overhaelen's supporters rose to their feet, but Hendrik Scheffer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Schirring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arno Fokkens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lukas Wessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guus van Zaanen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Arno Fokkens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Overhaelen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lukas Wessel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Diderik Eefting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Fokkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Lukas Wessel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After a rather tough play, Brouwershoek FC's Christiaan Vrieling got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dirk Jan Jonker during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dirk Jan Jonker hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes, Overhaelen's Guus van Zaanen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Schirring came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Overhaelen reached it. In the 66th minute, Arno Fokkens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Tim Stout had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diderik Eefting. Overhaelen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Stout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Lukas Wessel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diderik Eefting having to interfere. If Arno Fokkens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arno Fokkens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Diderik Eefting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Overhaelen getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Thomas Wijnands hit a great ball. Lukas Wessel scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diderik Eefting, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diderik Eefting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Fokkens in the 92nd minute of play. Brouwershoek FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
