Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vincent Zon kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Roderick Scheper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ajax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramele the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roderick Scheper to maneuver through the defense. After 4 minutes of play ajax's Roderick Scheper was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roderick Scheper kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Zon in the 12th minute of play forced ajax's goalkeeper Ronald Velthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Driel got free with Sjoerd Vervoort in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Peter Driel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dirk Rinzema fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ajax's protests and gave Dirk Rinzema a yellow card for diving instead. Karsten van Ankeren kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alexander Hartogh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronald Velthuis. ajax's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iwan Blikman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iwan Blikman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronald Velthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Zon in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ramele's Henry Apotheker got a free kick in the 36th minute. Karsten van Ankeren's late challenge caught a Ramele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten van Ankeren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten van Ankeren to maneuver through the defense. Emiel Janus hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Vincent Zon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Vincent Zon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramele's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Zon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Velthuis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Driel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Akkerman to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Blikman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Peter Driel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, ajax's Peter Driel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sjoerd Vervoort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Peter Driel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Peter Driel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ajax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramele the free kick. Sjoerd Vervoort came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by ajax's Peter Driel. But to his dismay, Peter Driel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sjoerd Vervoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Driel in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Zon came free, but Ronald Velthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramele's Sjoerd Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Driel in the 83rd minute of play. If Martin van Gessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Driel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sjoerd Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sjoerd Vervoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Zwinkels in the 87th minute of play. Ramele's Sjoerd Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Driel in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ramele's zone, Heiko Zwinkels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sjoerd Vervoort came out of the goal and Heiko Zwinkels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Driel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
