Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leon Vliet took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Roy Ricksen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taco Kamps recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Tommie Reinders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hogeweg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bossenburgh RKSV the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Hogeweg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Reinders to maneuver through the defense. Klaas Jan Haken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Vliet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hogeweg FC's Lukas Sundén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Hogeweg FC from getting a goal against them. Leon Vliet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaas Jan Haken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Vliet in the 19th minute of the match. Klaas Jan Haken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Vliet in the 21st minute of play. Klaas Jan Haken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Pik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jef Batum fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hogeweg FC's protests and gave Jef Batum a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hogeweg FC's Jef Batum got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Ed Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Jan Haken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Taco Kamps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute Wim Reints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Sundén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bossenburgh RKSV's Klaas Jan Haken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Vliet in the 46th minute of play.

In the 59th minute, Taco Kamps got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cees Platvoet hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bossenburgh RKSV's zone, Taco Kamps stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Jan Haken came out of the goal and Taco Kamps tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bossenburgh RKSV getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cees Platvoet hit a great ball. In the 64th play minute Taco Kamps came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klaas Jan Haken. 0-1. Klaas Jan Haken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taco Kamps went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Willem de Jaeger hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Cees Platvoet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bossenburgh RKSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hogeweg FC the free kick. Leon Vliet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Klaas Jan Haken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hogeweg FC's Taco Kamps got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Hogeweg FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bossenburgh RKSV throughout the match.
