The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Kaspers was the one to do the kick off. Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jordi Zuidam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon de Haan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon de Haan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Zuidam in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Serge Haan could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Ademar Queirós however easily saved by the left post. Jordi Zuidam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gert Luirink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wilderhof HC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ascoli Picchio F.C..
