In the 10th minute Henk Akkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Roelfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ron Holst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurre Roelfs having to interfere. Inácio Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido Heikens having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Amsterdam Baarsjes's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Mineiro came free, but Gido Heikens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joop Zeegers came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ubojnia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joop Zeegers couldn't finish the play. Gido Heikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Joop Zeegers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gido Heikens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Mineiro in the 30th minute of play. Gido Heikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Ron Holst notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ubojnia's Jurre Roelfs. Jurre Roelfs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gido Heikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Zeegers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Mineiro in the 45th minute of play forced Amsterdam Baarsjes's goalkeeper Gido Heikens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido Heikens having to interfere.

In the 55th minute, Joop Zeegers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jef Bust fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amsterdam Baarsjes's protests and gave Jef Bust a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Jef Bust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasmus Fagrell struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gido Heikens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubojnia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Job Geerts during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Ubojnia a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gertjan Maes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amsterdam Baarsjes's Gido Heikens. 1-1. Rasmus Fagrell's late challenge caught a Amsterdam Baarsjes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rasmus Fagrell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Rasmus Fagrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Henk Akkerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joop Zeegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gido Heikens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Mineiro in the 87th minute of play forced Amsterdam Baarsjes's goalkeeper Gido Heikens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ubojnia's zone, Barry Venema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurre Roelfs came out of the goal and Barry Venema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joop Zeegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
