After 45 played minutes Spa got a freekick which was hit by Adas Abromaitis. Zhao Ping Hui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Izaak Stuifzand's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizinho Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Oliverios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Koos Scheper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Oliverios in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Henk-Jan Beuneker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koos Scheper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koos Scheper was a little too slow when Henk-Jan Beuneker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. Luizinho Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhao Ping Hui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luizinho Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. Zhao Ping Hui came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Real Leonana's Izaak Stuifzand. But to his dismay, Izaak Stuifzand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 67th minute, Henk-Jan Beuneker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. FC Real Leonana's Koos Scheper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk-Jan Beuneker in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Rien Kuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Ping Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Spa's zone, Luizinho Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhao Ping Hui came out of the goal and Luizinho Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. Zhao Ping Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silver Oks, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
