Warm's supporters rose to their feet, but Alek Candries was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Kimman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredinho Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Rietven HC booed when Warm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beka Rebec didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Rietven HC's Rolf Kimman got control of the ball when Alfredinho Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Rietven HC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Warm:s goal. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Warm's Alfredinho Negri got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rolf Kimman. With an all-out effort, Warm's Rolf Kimman threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alek Candries, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alek Candries did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Rolf Kimman 30 minutes into the match. Beka Rebec hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes, Rietven HC's Damien Struik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiph Rönn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rietven HC reached it. Rolf Kimman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Alfredinho Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Rolf Kimman made a huge save. Roderick van Galen struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Filiph Rönn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rietven HC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alek Candries stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rietven HC's Rolf Kimman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alek Candries in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rietven HC's René Huisingh got a free kick in the 59th minute. Rolf Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Candries in the 67th minute of the match. Gilberto Fresco took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolf Kimman. Rolf Kimman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Gilberto Fresco made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Kimman. Rietven HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Roderick van Galen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rietven HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roderick van Galen couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Gilberto Fresco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolf Kimman was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 85th match minute, Warm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Fresco scored 8-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolf Kimman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rietven HC's Rolf Kimman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Negri in the 93rd minute of play. Warm's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
