In the 9th minute, German Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes FC Groenhoven got a freekick which was hit by German Frasco. Rune Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Edgar Oblemenco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Abadie in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, FC Groenhoven's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Helssen came free, but Edgar Oblemenco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Oblemenco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Abadie in the 28th minute of the match. Andrézinho Gaúcho lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 31 minutes into the game, FC Groenhoven's Ferry Roeles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to FC Groenhoven getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rune Norberg hit a great ball. Matias Abadie might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Oblemenco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Abadie ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 minutes, Dries Bakhuis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Groenhoven and the Caseys Dreamteam 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferry Roeles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Rune Norberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Groenhoven and the Caseys Dreamteam 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rune Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Ferry Roeles kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Edgar Oblemenco came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Caseys Dreamteam 2's Matias Abadie. But to his dismay, Matias Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Matias Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Matias Abadie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Oblemenco. That made the score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, FC Groenhoven's goalkeeper Edgar Oblemenco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Abadie. Rune Norberg made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caseys Dreamteam 2's Jeremy Paulin. When Matias Abadie came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Caseys Dreamteam 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Abadie couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Matias Abadie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Oblemenco. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferry Roeles in the 89th minute of play forced Caseys Dreamteam 2's goalkeeper Santiago Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Matias Abadie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Oblemenco. The goal made the score 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Abadie got free with Edgar Oblemenco in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
