Spectators: 8442 (Terracing: 6333, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yorrick Roorda made the kick off which started today's match. In the 9th minute Martijn Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Martijn Makaay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Neto. Martijn Makaay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Martijn Makaay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Neto. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. Belchior Mamalis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Belchior Mamalis slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belchior Mamalis got free with José Neto in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the game, Martijn Makaay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. José Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Limburg FC's Martijn Makaay got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Niek Fuchs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zutphen SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburg FC the free kick. In the 36th minute, Niek Fuchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Martijn Makaay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Neto, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, José Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute Martijn Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martijn Makaay's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

Martijn Makaay hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Rick Alards hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg FC's zone, Dave Witting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 朱德洋 came out of the goal and Dave Witting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martijn Makaay scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Makaay in the 60th minute of play. Jurgen Buskermolen charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurgen Buskermolen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zutphen SC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jurgen Buskermolen hit a great ball. José Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Makaay in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Limburg FC's goalkeeper 朱德洋 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yorrick Roorda. José Neto came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg FC's Belchior Mamalis. But to his dismay, Belchior Mamalis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 76 minutes into the match, Zutphen SC's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Vennegoor came free, but José Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Martijn Makaay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martijn Makaay in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Zutphen SC defense, Martijn Makaay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Neto. The Zutphen SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Neto should have stopped the shot. Limburg FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
