With an all-out effort, Limburg FC's Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martijn Makaay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on Limburg FC's corner Roy de Boer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen quite easily take care of the ball. 朱德洋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neeme Van Achteren in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Northern Titans's Gerald Maurits got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Makaay in the 31st minute of play. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Belchior Mamalis sent off a good shot on target. Belchior Mamalis took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Makaay in the 38th minute of play. Northern Titans's Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Makaay in the 40th minute of play. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Makaay in the 43rd minute of play. Northern Titans's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Patrik Myr scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen, making the score, 3-0. Federico Di Tommaso struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg FC.

The wind increased when Pieter Kaspers made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Belchior Mamalis scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Limburg FC's 朱德洋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg FC from getting a goal against them. Rick Alards's late challenge caught a Northern Titans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 64th minute Belchior Mamalis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Belchior Mamalis made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen. Northern Titans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Martijn Makaay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Geers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. 朱德洋 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Mamalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Martijn Makaay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen. Northern Titans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martijn Makaay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Roy de Boer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Limburg FC's Evert Vennegoor made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy de Boer in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Northern Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Di Tommaso came free, but Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Limburg FC fully deserved thier win.
