Patrik Myr took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rudi Huiting. Engwerd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Limburg FC booed when Engwerd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Tinselboer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Belchior Mamalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belchior Mamalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Limburg FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
