Thanks to some nice moves Tam Stalder could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Mark van Amersfoort however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, 吕政渊 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mark van Amersfoort to make any attempt to save it. 吕政渊 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Arjen Ommen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark van Amersfoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo van den Akker in the 21st minute of the match. If Teo van den Akker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Deinum HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Kuijsten to maneuver through the defense. Mark van Amersfoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjen Ommen in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Deinum HC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Michel Kuijsten hit a great ball. When Tam Stalder came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Achterwehl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tam Stalder couldn't finish the play. Mihai Tolea charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Tolea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Achterwehl booed when Deinum HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Tolea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark van Amersfoort made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Teo van den Akker sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, Deinum HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilco van den Bergh to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Deinum HC's goalkeeper Mark van Amersfoort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tam Stalder. Teo van den Akker struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Mark van Amersfoort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achterwehl. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tam Stalder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Achterwehl's Tam Stalder got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Deinum HC defense, Teo van den Akker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark van Amersfoort. The Deinum HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark van Amersfoort should have stopped the shot. Mark van Amersfoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjen Ommen in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Achterwehl's Tam Stalder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark van Amersfoort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 65 minutes into the match, Deinum HC's goal looked a bit too open when Tam Stalder came free, but Mark van Amersfoort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Tam Stalder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Achterwehl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Mark van Amersfoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tam Stalder in the 73rd minute of the match.
