Mark van Amersfoort was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Donald Heide fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limburg FC's protests and gave Donald Heide a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Limburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Donald Heide. Donald Heide kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 朱德洋 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Humberto Buys. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Martijn Makaay managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 43 minutes of play, Limburg FC's Martijn Makaay made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark van Amersfoort was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Scislowicz made a kick off. Donald Heide was shown his second yellow card after 50 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Limburg FC's Donald Heide got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 60th minute, Limburg FC's Roy de Boer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The supporters of Deinum HC booed when Limburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belchior Mamalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Limburg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Scislowicz came free, but 朱德洋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deinum HC booed when Limburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martijn Makaay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin 雷帆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martijn Makaay took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark van Amersfoort. Mark van Amersfoort dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 81st minute, Martijn Makaay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Limburg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deinum HC.
