Spectators: 8492 (Terracing: 6370, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nigel Jongsma started the match with the kick off. Geert Ijksma hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Fernandinho Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the RKSV HIER 6 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Barreto couldn't finish the play. Andreas Janssen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ion Cheptene hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Hector Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leiden Spor Kulubu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Pello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klaus Dijkstra made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jurjen van den Berg immediately put the ball in play. 24 minutes into the match, RKSV HIER 6's Nigel Jongsma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Mik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jurjen van den Berg scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harry Mik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Hector Pello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chineze Lukaku. RKSV HIER 6's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Pello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 31st minute, RKSV HIER 6's Nigel Jongsma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 34th minute, Hector Pello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chineze Lukaku was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 37th minute Hector Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chineze Lukaku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandinho Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Mik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandinho Barreto in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match RKSV HIER 6 got a corner. Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geert Ijksma ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in RKSV HIER 6's zone, Hector Pello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chineze Lukaku came out of the goal and Hector Pello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Jongsma in the 44th minute of play. RKSV HIER 6's Chineze Lukaku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Pello in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Pello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind RKSV HIER 6's goalkeeper Chineze Lukaku, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hector Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Pello got free with Chineze Lukaku in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Châtelet's late challenge caught a RKSV HIER 6's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Billy Châtelet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RKSV HIER 6 booed when Leiden Spor Kulubu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Châtelet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leiden Spor Kulubu's Hector Pello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chineze Lukaku. That made the score 2-3 after 63 minutes of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Nigel Jongsma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Fernandinho Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to RKSV HIER 6 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Geert Ijksma hit a great ball. RKSV HIER 6's Fernandinho Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Jongsma in the 84th minute of play forced Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joost de Zaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harry Mik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nigel Jongsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th of the match, Hector Pello tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Chineze Lukaku got in the way and made a wonderful save. Harry Mik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nigel Jongsma's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, RKSV HIER 6's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Pello came free, but Chineze Lukaku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leiden Spor Kulubu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Billy Châtelet in the 98th minute. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Billy Châtelet was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chineze Lukaku in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leiden Spor Kulubu played a much better game than RKSV HIER 6 and deserved their victory. The RKSV HIER 6 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
