Spectators: 8492 (Terracing: 6370, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Pello started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Leiden Spor Kulubu getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joost de Zaaijer hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alberth Gosmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Harry Mik however easily saved by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Jan Rein Karremans got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harry Mik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Pello in the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goal looked a bit too open when Valio Tammisto came free, but Harry Mik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap van der Schans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Pello went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Pello in the 31st minute of the match. Harry Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Posadzki in the 32nd minute of play. Wieslaw Posadzki made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 34thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Harry Mik would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valio Tammisto in the 36th minute of play forced Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Mik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberth Gosmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Zhao Yuan Xing got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Alberth Gosmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Mik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valio Tammisto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Peder Nyqvist fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westenenk's protests and gave Peder Nyqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Westenenk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Peder Nyqvist hit a great ball. Hector Pello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Hector Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leiden Spor Kulubu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Pello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberth Gosmann in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Valio Tammisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joost de Zaaijer in the 70th minute of play. Leiden Spor Kulubu were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Westenenk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Billy Châtelet took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Posadzki in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Mik saved Leiden Spor Kulubu from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goal looked a bit too open when Valio Tammisto came free, but Harry Mik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valio Tammisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Harry Mik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost de Zaaijer in the 86th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Joost de Zaaijer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leiden Spor Kulubu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Posadzki in the 94th minute of play. Leiden Spor Kulubu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
