In the 23rd minute Mirko Mos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Bense took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Salvatore. Joaquin Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Krul City Wolves's Joaquin Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirko Mos in the 30th minute of play. Bernard Bense hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Luc Verhoeven put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jef Meyer. Jef Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Veninga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Krul City Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko Mos came free, but Joaquin Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Mirko Mos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Coenraad Kort kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mirko Mos made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Mos in the 52nd minute of play forced Krul City Wolves's goalkeeper Joaquin Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Ferry Dussel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jef Meyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Bjorn Hummel lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 58th minute Ronny Veninga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jef Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jef Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Verhoeven in the 59th minute of play. Ferry Dussel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jef Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Verhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Springplank FC's Romeo Formerio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Salvatore made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Romeo Formerio sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Romeo Formerio sped through Krul City Wolves's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Salvatore. A sloppy throw-in by Adriaan Rijkaard in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Springplank FC's Coenraad Kort. Ronny Veninga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jef Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ferry Dussel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krul City Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferry Dussel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jef Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timo Baars charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timo Baars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Krul City Wolves getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ronny Veninga hit a great ball.
