Diermen HC's Gijs Wagenaar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henk-Jan Appel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Henk-Jan Appel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Daamen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vadim Ilyins short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Kristoffer Nordfeldt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bovenkarspel's Vadim Ilyin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Kevin Booy fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
