After 47 played minutes RKSV HIER 6 got a freekick which was hit by Hanafy Kamouna. After the first half RKSV HIER 6 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nigel Jongsma made the kick off in the second half. Hernani Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurjen van den Berg in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Piara Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bergeikers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The long shot by Ronald van der Stoel in the 65th minute really tested Hernani Messias's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 69th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eelco Ricksen to maneuver through the defense. When Otto Klasen came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bergeikers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Klasen couldn't finish the play. When the match was over RKSV HIER 6 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bergeikers throughout the match.
