The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joost Telkamp during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zbyszko Jazwiec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piara Batistuta went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Otto Klasen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zbyszko Jazwiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszko Jazwiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piara Batistuta in the 35th minute of the match. Joost Telkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Piara Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Jazwiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Meijs hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Scheveningen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bergeikers were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Oosting to make the kick off. With his leg Zbyszko Jazwiec managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Bergeikers's Piara Batistuta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Piara Batistuta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbyszko Jazwiec. That made the score 0-5 in the 60 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyryl Ziemniak during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Piara Batistuta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Zbyszko Jazwiec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scheveningen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Scheveningen's Zbyszko Jazwiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Klasen in the 87th minute of play. Zbyszko Jazwiec came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Bergeikers's Piara Batistuta. But to his dismay, Piara Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Scheveningen's Cyryl Ziemniak got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Cyryl Ziemniak off the ground. A collision led to Scheveningen getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mark Saeijs hit a great ball.
