Spectators: 8016 (Terracing: 6347, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hector Pello kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Springplank FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnout Lembeck. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dries Muskee during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Dries Muskee got a free kick in the 12th minute. Freek Som charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freek Som the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Freek Som hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Zuidam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freek Som in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute Hector Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Zuidam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Reis in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joost de Zaaijer came free, but Otto Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Reis in the 38th minute of play. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Tuhuteru in the 39th minute of the match. Springplank FC's Marcus Tuhuteru managed to work through Leiden Spor Kulubu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marcus Tuhuteru dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With an all-out effort, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Otto Zuidam threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freek Som, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Gerrit Bos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springplank FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Otto Zuidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost de Zaaijer in the 56th minute of the match. Harry Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Tuhuteru in the 59th minute of play. Arnout Lembeck's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Harry Mik firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcus Tuhuteru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Harry Mik made a huge save. Otto Zuidam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost de Zaaijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik got control of the ball when Marcus Tuhuteru tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrit Bos got free with Harry Mik in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerrit Bos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Springplank FC booed when Leiden Spor Kulubu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. 石渊文 didn't get a good kick on the ball.
