The audience thought a goal was coming when Luc Verhoeven got free with Rudi Ebbinge in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Ronny Veninga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Krul City Wolves's zone, Mark Hovenkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Salvatore came out of the goal and Mark Hovenkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Gerrits in the 23rd minute of play forced Krul City Wolves's goalkeeper Joaquin Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Gerrits, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Joaquin Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geale van Dongen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krul City Wolves's Joaquin Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Japke Wielaert in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Krul City Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Japke Wielaert came free, but Joaquin Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Krul City Wolves defense, Japke Wielaert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Salvatore. The Krul City Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Salvatore should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Krul City Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Geale van Dongen came free, but Joaquin Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Jos Gerrits sped through Krul City Wolves's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Salvatore. Jos Gerrits scored 0-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Jos Gerrits took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Salvatore. Joaquin Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Joaquin Salvatore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geale van Dongen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 54 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geale van Dongen got free with Joaquin Salvatore in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes of play, Steedshoger's Jos Gerrits made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geale van Dongen struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Joaquin Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steedshoger. Rudi Ebbinge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Verhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Geale van Dongen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Salvatore made a huge save. Joaquin Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirko Wisgerhof in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Krul City Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilco Arends to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Krul City Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Gerrits came free, but Joaquin Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krul City Wolves's Joaquin Salvatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Krul City Wolves from getting a goal against them. The Steedshoger fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Steedshoger's Koen Ros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 93 minutes into the match, Krul City Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Japke Wielaert came free, but Joaquin Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koen Ros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Joaquin Salvatore made a huge save. Japke Wielaert kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Steedshoger could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Krul City Wolves throughout the match.
