After 10 minutes of play, Kelmond S.C.'s Martien Sandstra made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piet Hermansyah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piet Hermansyah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Sandstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Martien Sandstra notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Spookberg's Piet Hermansyah. Piet Hermansyah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Fernanco Barma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Spookberg's goalkeeper Piet Hermansyah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernanco Barma in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Sarmento saved Kelmond S.C. from getting behind. Ruud Stevens scored 2-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrão Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Rolf Peters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Spookberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geale Colen who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Kelmond S.C.'s Han ten Rouwelaar got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Gerrit Hooiveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruud Stevens struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Pedrão Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spookberg. 43 minutes into the game, Henny de Winter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kelmond S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spookberg the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henny de Winter to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kelmond S.C.'s Pedrão Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Peters in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kelmond S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Hommes was slow to take the kick. During this time Spookberg's players had a chance to rest. Spookberg's Hubert Mulders was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedrão Sarmento in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Spookberg were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Kelmond S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olaf Hommes took the corner. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernanco Barma in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Martien Sandstra hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Martien Sandstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spookberg's Piet Hermansyah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Spookberg booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piet Hermansyah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit Hooiveld, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Piet Hermansyah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Hooiveld in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Gerrit Hooiveld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piet Hermansyah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Hommes charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Hommes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olaf Hommes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Geale Colen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piet Hermansyah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match Kelmond S.C. got a corner. Spookberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geale Colen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kelmond S.C.'s Geale Colen to fire away a dangerous shot which Piet Hermansyah despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Spookberg's Fernanco Barma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrão Sarmento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piet Hermansyah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Hooiveld in the 85th minute of play. Spookberg's Piet Hermansyah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Sandstra in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Spookberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sipke Saeijs to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
