In the 45th minute, one of Schoonloo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Schoonloo. In the 47th minute, Vladimír Faltýnek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wevershoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thijs Seedorf made a kick off. A collision led to Wevershoek getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hans Lyle replaced Bennie van Assen. 87 minutes into the game, Hans Lyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bedrettin Münib was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bedrettin Münib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Hendrik Paas in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Plagge in the 92nd minute of play forced Schoonloo's goalkeeper Roland Geitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bedrettin Münib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lindi Zegers, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
