Spectators: 8559 (Terracing: 6420, Seating: 1968, VIP seats: 171) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Timmie Beukenkamp made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Christijan de Coninck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baaidunen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hønefoss BK the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Baaidunen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hønefoss BK:s goal. In the 6th minute, Ľubomír Gott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henny van der Schaaf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christijan de Coninck made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Folker van Zalingen however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Baaidunen's Gijsbert Hulsebos got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sjef Wagenaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Sjef Wagenaar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hønefoss BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sjef Wagenaar couldn't finish the play. If Sjef Wagenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Sjef Wagenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henny van der Schaaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Hønefoss BK's Sjef Wagenaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henny van der Schaaf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 22nd play minutes Sjef Wagenaar shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Henny van der Schaaf and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 28th minute, Aad Heuving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gio Elders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aarre Rautee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sjef Wagenaar in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henny van der Schaaf saved Baaidunen from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sjef Wagenaar was the one to do the kick off. Gio Elders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aarre Rautee, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Timmie Beukenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Elders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gio Elders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarre Rautee in the 76th minute of play. Christijan de Coninck made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Chiel van Zaanen however managed to control. In the 84th match minute, Hønefoss BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Pluym to maneuver through the defense. Henny van der Schaaf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sjef Wagenaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hønefoss BK's goalkeeper Gio Elders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timmie Beukenkamp hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarre Rautee in the 95th minute of play. Sjef Wagenaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hønefoss BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
