Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5879, Seating: 1578, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karel Zilverberg kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roderick Eringa in the 6th minute of play forced Vuilendam's goalkeeper Jeroen Kimman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karel Zilverberg couldn't finish the play. Jeroen Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Kikkert in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Vuilendam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Oevermans to maneuver through the defense. Erben Tamminga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeroen Kimman. Vuilendam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeroen Kimman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when VV Zonnedael's Henk Kikkert shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jeroen Kimman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Kikkert in the 15th minute of play. Raymond Prins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeroen Kimman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roderick Eringa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Ton Zevenhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Kikkert in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeroen Kimman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raymond Prins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Billy Das shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Kimman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VV Zonnedael's Billy Das got a free kick in the 36th minute. Raymond Prins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiel Huiting having to make a save. Pieter Zonneveld charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pieter Zonneveld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Pieter Zonneveld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, VV Zonnedael's Henk Kikkert made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeroen Kimman was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henk Kikkert made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Raymond Prins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vuilendam and the VV Zonnedael players grew even worse after the yellow card. 55 minutes into the game, Billy Das recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeroen Kimman. Billy Das showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Richard Tuhuteru kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Karel Zilverberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Emiel Huiting was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 played minutes VV Zonnedael got a freekick which was hit by Erben Tamminga. 70 minutes into the game, VV Zonnedael's Henk Kikkert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeroen Kimman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Erben Tamminga hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Karel Zilverberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiel Huiting. VV Zonnedael's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel Zilverberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Jeroen Kimman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th minute, VV Zonnedael's Roderick Eringa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. Karel Zilverberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Huiting having to interfere. Karel Zilverberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Emiel Huiting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VV Zonnedael's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
