Jacobo Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Jeroen Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Kramer in the 5th minute of the match. Lex Brürs came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Vuilendam's Raymond Prins. But to his dismay, Raymond Prins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stephan Kramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Raymond Prins got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeroen Kimman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Kramer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harmelen's Harald Onderwater managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geale Westerink in the 26 minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Raymond Prins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vuilendam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harmelen the free kick. Raymond Prins kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Raymond Prins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lex Brürs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Stephan Kramer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeroen Kimman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jeroen Kimman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Kramer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeroen Kimman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert van Rhijn in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Karel Zilverberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vuilendam's supporters rose to their feet, but Karel Zilverberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lex Brürs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vuilendam's Jeroen Kimman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert van Rhijn in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

54 minutes into the game, Atilano Etor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeroen Kimman. Atilano Etor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With an all-out effort, Harmelen's Jeroen Kimman threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stephan Kramer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lex Brürs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Prins, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Stephan Kramer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Kimman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeroen Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Kramer in the 68th minute of the match. Hubert van Rhijn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jeroen Kimman made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Vuilendam's goalkeeper Jeroen Kimman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubert van Rhijn. After some careless play in the Harmelen defense, Raymond Prins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lex Brürs. The Harmelen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lex Brürs should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Ton Zevenhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Stephan Kramer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeroen Kimman, 2-3. After 86 minutes, Luc Heuving mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vuilendam and the Harmelen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harmelen's Taco Pilage was substituted for Atilano Etor. Luc Heuving hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jeroen Kimman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Kramer's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Raymond Prins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lex Brürs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Harmelen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
