Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karel Zilverberg started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Ferry Kuypers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Kimman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gio Elders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karel Zilverberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vuilendam's Jeroen Kimman got control of the ball when Pepijn Schouten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Hønefoss BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Boer to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Pepijn Schouten notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Vuilendam's Jeroen Kimman. Jeroen Kimman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th match minute, Vuilendam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luc Heuving to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes, Ľubomír Gott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hønefoss BK and the Vuilendam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ľubomír Gott kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Gio Elders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Heuving in the 25th minute of the match. John Boer struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jeroen Kimman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hønefoss BK. Karel Zilverberg charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karel Zilverberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Vuilendam got a freekick which was hit by Karel Zilverberg. 40 minutes into the match, Pepijn Schouten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeroen Kimman, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luc Heuving during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vuilendam getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luc Heuving hit a great ball. Daan Wittendorp kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Pepijn Schouten took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeroen Kimman. Jeroen Kimman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pepijn Schouten to strike the kick off in the second half. Pepijn Schouten charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pepijn Schouten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Pepijn Schouten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferry Kuypers scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeroen Kimman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 played minutes Hønefoss BK got a freekick which was hit by John Boer. Gio Elders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Zilverberg in the 60th minute of play. Gio Elders made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Geale Westerink sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Koos Tollenaar with Geale Westerink as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 67th match minute, Hønefoss BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepijn Schouten to maneuver through the defense. During the 69th minute of the match Pepijn Schouten completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pepijn Schouten a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Hønefoss BK's Pepijn Schouten got a free kick in the 70th minute. Karel Zilverberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gio Elders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karel Zilverberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Karel Zilverberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gio Elders made a huge save. Geale Westerink made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Raymond Prins. 80 minutes into the game, Geale Westerink threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hønefoss BK's John Boer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jeroen Kimman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Boer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vuilendam getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Koos Tollenaar hit a great ball. The supporters of Hønefoss BK booed when Vuilendam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ton Zevenhuizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ľubomír Gott took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeroen Kimman. Vuilendam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ferry Kuypers came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hønefoss BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferry Kuypers couldn't finish the play. Ferry Kuypers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hønefoss BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vuilendam for a fine match.
