The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Queen Red Bulls Eertje getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Richard Ravenbergen hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Harm Schenning sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Maurits skillfully saved the ball. Vladimír Faltýnek hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Ravenbergen in the 7th minute of play forced Wevershoek's goalkeeper Bedrettin Münib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Maurits showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Hedin in the 9th minute of the match. Robin Staarman made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Folker Zeijlemaker immediately put the ball in play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Richard Ravenbergen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bedrettin Münib to make any attempt to save it. Andrea Bottone in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bedrettin Münib, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Wevershoek booed when Queen Red Bulls Eertje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Karremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Wevershoek's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 杨宽岚 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 34 minutes, Isac Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wevershoek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Maurits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Hedin in the 43rd minute of play. Richard Ravenbergen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrea Bottone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Wevershoek's Gert Plagge in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Humberto Maurits was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Queen Red Bulls Eertje through an amazing save. 57 minutes into the game, Andrea Bottone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bedrettin Münib was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute Gert Plagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Maurits saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Plagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Humberto Maurits tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Robin Staarman in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Queen Red Bulls Eertje's Sven-Arne Tunström. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Queen Red Bulls Eertje's goalkeeper Humberto Maurits, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Wevershoek were awarded a corner. Bram Kuis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bram Kuis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Humberto Maurits quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 76 minutes into the match, Wevershoek's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Quexal came free, but Bedrettin Münib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Bottone in the 79th minute of play forced Wevershoek's goalkeeper Bedrettin Münib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Ravenbergen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bedrettin Münib having to make a save. When Gert Plagge came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Wevershoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Plagge couldn't finish the play. Andrea Bottone hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Gerardo Quexal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queen Red Bulls Eertje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Quexal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Queen Red Bulls Eertje's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
