Arne Wijk was slow to take the kick. During this time FCF north's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute Ed Bijlsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Klaassen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Langenbach made a kick off. SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arcan Çapan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 68th minute, Ed Bijlsma made a precise shot to the right of Edward Klaassen. SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Klaassen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arcan Çapan in the 83rd minute of play forced SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goalkeeper Edward Klaassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Steelman came free, but Edward Klaassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FCF north players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
