Jurgen Spierenburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Henry van der Saar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurgen Spierenburg was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Oliver Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgen Spierenburg having to interfere. Jurgen Spierenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emile de Cler in the 29th minute of the match. Toni Rogaars kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Buckinx during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Daarlerveen booed when Landgraaf 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Buckinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Daarlerveen's goal looked a bit too open when Henry van der Saar came free, but Jurgen Spierenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurgen Spierenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Ciocan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Laurențiu Ciocan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurgen Spierenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Barry Mans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barry Mans made a kick off. Jurgen Spierenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Ciocan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Laurențiu Ciocan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurgen Spierenburg. Jurgen Spierenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 60th minute, Oliver Myr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
