The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Achterberg during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Kurt de Rudder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rik Stekelenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rik Stekelenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stijn Boswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rik Stekelenburg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Snits United Reloaded's Kurt de Rudder. But to his dismay, Kurt de Rudder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Boswijk in the 17th minute of play forced Ruitenberg FC's goalkeeper Rik Stekelenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Kurt de Rudder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rik Stekelenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter-Jan Tonnis in the 21st minute of play. Rik Stekelenburg came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Snits United Reloaded's Pieter-Jan Tonnis. But to his dismay, Pieter-Jan Tonnis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Klaas Jan van der Meer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rik Stekelenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stijn Boswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rik Stekelenburg came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Snits United Reloaded's Klaas Jan van der Meer. But to his dismay, Klaas Jan van der Meer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Rik Stekelenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stijn Boswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Pieter-Jan Tonnis notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg. Rik Stekelenburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslaw Scislowicz made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Mario Zoolingen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rik Stekelenburg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Kurt de Rudder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rik Stekelenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Freek van de Meerakker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rik Stekelenburg. That made the score 0-10 in the 60 minute of play. Ruitenberg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Stijn Boswijk scored to the left of an out of position Rik Stekelenburg, making the score, 0-13. Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt de Rudder in the 75th minute of play. Kristian de Boer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Rik Stekelenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt de Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg got control of the ball when Klaas Jan van der Meer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Ruitenberg FC from getting a goal against them. Stijn Boswijk got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-15 in the right cross in the 85th match minute before Rik Stekelenburg had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Caluwé in the 88th minute of play forced Ruitenberg FC's goalkeeper Rik Stekelenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rik Stekelenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stijn Boswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stijn Boswijk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rik Stekelenburg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Snits United Reloaded's Kurt de Rudder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rik Stekelenburg. That made the score 0-16 after 94 minutes of play.
