FC Sneek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Landgraaf 07 the free kick. A collision led to FC Sneek getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sjaak Ijksma hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Henry van der Saar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landgraaf 07's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry van der Saar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Meindert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Emile de Cler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Meindert was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. FC Sneek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Henry van der Saar scored to the left of an out of position Dennis Meindert, making the score, 3-0. In the 25th minute, Landgraaf 07's Kurt Redan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dennis Meindert. Dennis Meindert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 29 minutes into the match, FC Sneek's goal looked a bit too open when Henry van der Saar came free, but Dennis Meindert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurențiu Ciocan got free with Dennis Meindert in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Zé Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sneek's protests and gave Zé Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the match, Henry van der Saar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dennis Meindert, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Henry van der Saar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Ciocan in the 51st minute of play forced FC Sneek's goalkeeper Dennis Meindert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emile de Cler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Sneek getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Éric Cartman hit a great ball. Dennis Meindert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emile de Cler in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael van Zeijl during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Michael van Zeijl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes FC Sneek got a freekick which was hit by Sjaak Ijksma. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry van der Saar in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Meindert saved FC Sneek from getting behind. FC Sneek's Dennis Meindert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Redan in the 73rd minute of play. FC Sneek's Michael van Zeijl got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Michael van Zeijl off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry van der Saar in the 79th minute of play forced FC Sneek's goalkeeper Dennis Meindert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Sjaak Ijksma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Taco Timmermans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Taco Timmermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 刘平国, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. FC Sneek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry van der Saar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 91st minute, Armin Borromeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Kurt Redan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Meindert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Landgraaf 07 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
