Spectators: 8241 (Terracing: 6307, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barry Mans started the match with the kick off. Long Canac got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pepijn de Cock. Jurgen Spierenburg came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Medevoort's Karahan Saylan. But to his dismay, Karahan Saylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Mans in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Drábek saved Medevoort from getting behind. Barry Mans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Long Canac hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Tieleman in the 19th minute of play forced Medevoort's goalkeeper Simon Drábek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karahan Saylan took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurgen Spierenburg. Jurgen Spierenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Daarlerveen's goal looked a bit too open when Karahan Saylan came free, but Jurgen Spierenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Daarlerveen's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Bonadona came free, but Jurgen Spierenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stijn Abbekerk kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Medevoort getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jan Rein Iemberge hit a great ball. With 38 minutes on the clock, Zachary Cisek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Daarlerveen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 44th minute Fermin Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Spierenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurgen Spierenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Rein Iemberge in the 45th minute of play. Hans Tieleman hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karahan Saylan made a kick off. Pierre Hommes's late challenge caught a Medevoort's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Hommes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Daarlerveen getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Pierre Hommes hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Daarlerveen's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Rein Iemberge came free, but Jurgen Spierenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karahan Saylan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jurgen Spierenburg made a huge save. In the 57th minute Stijn Abbekerk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Spierenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daarlerveen's Jurgen Spierenburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Daarlerveen from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Daarlerveen's Jurgen Spierenburg got control of the ball when Karahan Saylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Medevoort's zone, Barry Mans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Drábek came out of the goal and Barry Mans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barry Mans charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barry Mans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Medevoort's Jurgen Spierenburg threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Mangione, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karahan Saylan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jurgen Spierenburg came out and tried to block the shot, but Karahan Saylan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Barry Mans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Drábek. Medevoort's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry Mans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Barry Mans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Long Canac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurgen Spierenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mangione, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jan Rein Iemberge hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Medevoort's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
