In the 27th match minute, Medevoort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepijn de Cock to maneuver through the defense. Erwin Teesing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karahan Saylan's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Stijn Abbekerk came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Fermin Bonadona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ASC South United's Erwin Teesing. Erwin Teesing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andreas Tamminga kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Medevoort were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Karahan Saylan made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Hugo Bender got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Taco Scholte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Drábek having to make a save. Erwin Teesing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Bonadona in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Karahan Saylan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erwin Teesing, 0-4. Fermin Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Teesing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karahan Saylan in the 63rd minute of the match.
