After 22 minutes ASC South United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralph Wilmink who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Klaus Bas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ger Mols in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Teesing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Ger Mols made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Bas came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bjorn Kuijpers came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the The Dalwhinnie Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjorn Kuijpers couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, ASC South United's Erwin Teesing got control of the ball when Ger Mols tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf van der Saar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ger Mols made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ger Mols in the 53rd minute of play forced ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Hugo Bender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASC South United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Bender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Mirko Stuijvenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwin Teesing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ger Mols in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Kristoffers in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Teesing saved ASC South United from getting behind. The supporters of The Dalwhinnie Boys booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Holst didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ger Mols in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Klaus Bas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaus Bas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Jonathan Kristoffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiel Kuis during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Chiel Kuis. When Kristian Holst came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ASC South United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Holst couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the The Dalwhinnie Boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
