Bergstraat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nisse the free kick. 5 minutes into the game, Nisse's Bill Dekkers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiaan Kolkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Mathias Oortwijn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bergstraat's Jan Luijten got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match, Berry Visscher got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bertus de Swart was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bertus de Swart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert van der Struijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Karel de Zee charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karel de Zee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karel de Zee hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Nisse's Bill Dekkers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christiaan Kolkman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christiaan Kolkman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Rieks went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Nisse's Bertus de Swart got control of the ball when Karel de Zee tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Bergstraat defense, Bill Dekkers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiaan Kolkman. The Bergstraat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiaan Kolkman should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Karel de Zee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergstraat's supporters rose to their feet, but Karel de Zee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertus de Swart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Bergstraat's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Dekkers came free, but Christiaan Kolkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiaan Kolkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Terpstra in the 40th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Nisse's Bill Dekkers made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiaan Kolkman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert van der Struijk in the 56th minute of play forced Nisse's goalkeeper Bertus de Swart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoon Piening kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Bill Dekkers struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Christiaan Kolkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nisse. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel de Zee in the 69th minute of play forced Nisse's goalkeeper Bertus de Swart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yuri Rieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertus de Swart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert van der Struijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Nisse's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Luijten came free, but Bertus de Swart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Bergstraat's goalkeeper Christiaan Kolkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bill Dekkers. Evert van der Struijk kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Nisse booed when Bergstraat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert van der Struijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bill Dekkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Christiaan Kolkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bergstraat's goalkeeper Christiaan Kolkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Bill Dekkers notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Bergstraat's Christiaan Kolkman. Christiaan Kolkman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bill Dekkers in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christiaan Kolkman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
