Bertus de Swart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Kielstra in the 6th minute of play. Nisse's Bertus de Swart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foeke Rodenberg in the 12th minute of play. In the 18th minute Rolf Ranzijn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertus de Swart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wadwaai FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bill Dekkers 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Bertus de Swart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Venema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Terpstra hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Alexander Oosting fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wadwaai FC's protests and gave Alexander Oosting a yellow card for diving instead. Wadwaai FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Bill Dekkers scored to the left of an out of position Rick Rinzema, making the score, 2-0. In the 34th minute, Bill Dekkers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rick Rinzema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill Dekkers, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute Foeke Rodenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertus de Swart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 51st minute of the match, Foeke Rodenberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bertus de Swart saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Henny Folkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Rinzema having to interfere. Ferry Schuttrup kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Daan Staarman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nisse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Henny Folkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rick Rinzema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bill Dekkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Wadwaai FC's Han Venema got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Simon Dilling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Wadwaai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Ranzijn to maneuver through the defense. Simon Dilling's late challenge caught a Wadwaai FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Dilling helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Dilling hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Rolf Ranzijn struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bertus de Swart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wadwaai FC. After 93 played minutes Wadwaai FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Ranzijn. When Jorn Hadders fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wadwaai FC's protests and gave Jorn Hadders a yellow card for diving instead. Nisse walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
