Benigno Ostadar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, Schoondorp AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rick de Zee came free, but Benigno Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arnout Arends had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Arnout Arends left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Rick de Zee got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 21 minutes, Oliver de Nooijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schoondorp AFC and the Rondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rondo booed when Schoondorp AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver de Nooijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Ostadar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnout Arends in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnout Arends kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benigno Ostadar. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Zhang De Wei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Schoondorp AFC's Benigno Ostadar got control of the ball when Arnout Arends tried to sneak it across the goal line. Schoondorp AFC's Benigno Ostadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Schoondorp AFC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhang De Wei to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Schoondorp AFC defense, Arnout Arends kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Ostadar. The Schoondorp AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Ostadar should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Rondo's Charly Rusterholz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Ostadar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Arnout Arends scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Ostadar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orestis Lazarou made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jos Severijnse sent off a good shot on target. Benigno Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacco Hekman in the 72nd minute of the match. Benigno Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Rusterholz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnout Arends couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Arnout Arends shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Charly Rusterholz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Rondo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
