The audience was convinced that Charly Rusterholz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiaan Kolkman was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Jacco Hekman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiaan Kolkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacco Hekman in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charly Rusterholz made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondo's Jacco Hekman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christiaan Kolkman. That made the score 0-7 after 51 minutes of play. In the 55th match minute, Rondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Knuppel to maneuver through the defense. Christiaan Kolkman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacco Hekman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 60 minute of play. Antoon Piening kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Christiaan Kolkman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rick de Zee. 69 minutes into the match, Bergstraat's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Rusterholz came free, but Christiaan Kolkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Jacco Hekman sped through Bergstraat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christiaan Kolkman. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Rick de Zee took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Christiaan Kolkman to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Bergstraat's zone, Jacco Hekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiaan Kolkman came out of the goal and Jacco Hekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charly Rusterholz in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiaan Kolkman saved Bergstraat from getting behind. Charly Rusterholz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Christiaan Kolkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rondo. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Christiaan Kolkman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Rondo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bergstraat.
