Evaggelos Polizos ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurens de Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Hodyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Acatincăi to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henk Hofkamp during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, De Rammers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordy Moorlag to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Dowie during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. De Rammers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaggelos Polizos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De Rammers FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
