Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rik Wikenburg started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Wadwaai FC's zone, Rik Wikenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Rinzema came out of the goal and Rik Wikenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Rik Wikenburg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Havikeld FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rik Wikenburg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Rik Wikenburg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rick Rinzema was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Rik Wikenburg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rick Rinzema came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Havikeld FC's Karim Ardianto. But to his dismay, Karim Ardianto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rik Wikenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Havikeld FC's Markku Kankaanpää played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Venema in the 29th minute of play. Rick Rinzema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rik Wikenburg in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Havikeld FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rudi Kielstra made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rik Wikenburg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Wadwaai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rik Wikenburg came free, but Rick Rinzema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wadwaai FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Rik Wikenburg scored to the left of an out of position Rick Rinzema, making the score, 0-6. Wadwaai FC's Rick Rinzema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Ardianto in the 62nd minute of play. Markku Kankaanpää took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Kielstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Karim Ardianto took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Rick Rinzema to make any attempt to save it. Rik Wikenburg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Rick Rinzema when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karim Ardianto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rick Rinzema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rick Rinzema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rik Wikenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rick Rinzema was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Rik Wikenburg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rik Wikenburg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Rik Wikenburg struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rick Rinzema didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Havikeld FC. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wadwaai FC's goalkeeper Rick Rinzema, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rik Wikenburg scored 0-9 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rick Rinzema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Rik Wikenburg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rick Rinzema. That made the score 0-10 in the 88 minute of play. Wadwaai FC's Han Venema got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Havikeld FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wadwaai FC.
